Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania

Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania is an AmeriCorps Education Award Only program (Ed Award). This means that participating students enroll as AmeriCorps members on a part-time basis and receive a partial Education Award at the end of their term. Students who complete 900 hours of service over 2 years earn an award of $2,362.50. The award can be used to pay for any legitimate educational expense at their current undergraduate institution or to pay for future educational expenses.
Campuses across Pennsylvania are encourged to apply to host a Scholars in Service to PA Program. Application and all pertinent information is available at http://www.upenn.edu/ccp/PHENND/initiatives/sispa.html
Applications are due Friday, July 16, 2004.
Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania is a program of PennSERVE: the Governor’s Office of Citizen Service and is jointly administered by PHENND and PA Campus Compact.
