Scholars in Service to Pennsylvania presents…
2006 Annual Conference
Student Leadership Development Institute
The Scholars in Service to PA Leadership Development Institute will bring together community service and service-learning professionals from across the state. The institute is designed to focus on building skills and techniques for volunteer training, group facilitation, and student development.
Workshop topics will include:
* Working with afterschool programs
* Volunteer Income Tax, EITC, and other Public Benefits
* Community Economic Development – Rural and Suburban perspectives
* Bridging the digital divide
* Supporting K-12 Service-Learning and Senior Projects
* Program Evaluation
* Using a VISTA to support your service program
* Leverging Federal Work Study for Community Service
