Schedule a Garden Explorations Tour For Your Students
Posted by Norris Square Neighborhood Project on October 26, 2015
Norris Square Neighborhood Project offers tours in both English and Spanish and age appropriate lessons within each tour for youth and adults for a small fee. NSNP’s tours invite visitors of all ages to experience four of NSNP’s cultural gardens to learn about Taíno, Puerto Rican & African history & heritage through our gardens’ plants, murals, and structures.
Explore our Taíno hut, La Casita de Abuela, West African Village and Story Telling Hut. Group activities include garden scavenger hunts, hands-on nutrition lessons, and workshops on botany and sustainable urban agriculture.
For more information or to schedule a tour, please email us at tours@myneighborhoodproject.org or call our Food and Landscape Coordinator Marian Dalke at (267) 245-0148
