Scattergood announces second Innovation Award competition
The Scattergood Innovation Award is designed to help identify, promote and reward innovative programs that demonstrably improve diagnosis, treatment, de-stigmatization, or support networks for the estimated one in four Americans over 18 who are directly affected by a diagnosable behavioral health condition.
Sponsored by the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation, the Award includes a $25,000 gift for the most innovative program, exposure for all finalists as leaders, innovators and champions of behavioral health, and the establishment of a community of people who share the mission of improving behavioral healthcare and encouraging public dialogue about behavioral health.
Individuals, teams or organizations can self-nominate or nominate another individual, and you don’t need to be a behavioral health professional to apply. The hope is to build an interdisciplinary community that will share ideas, interact, and develop future collaborations as part of the Scattergood network of innovators.
Submissions due January 10, 2014.
