SAVE YOUR SEAT: Tech in the Commons returns on October 16th!

Gain entrepreneurial skills that can impact your career at Tech in the Commons: Entrepreneurial Skills for Nonprofits! In partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal, the second session of 2019 will show you how to leverage entrepreneurial skills in the nonprofit sector.
In case you missed it, Tech in the Commons is a workshop series designed to give nonprofits the tech tools they need to grow their impact, audience and fundraising efforts. On October 16, 5:00-7:30 PM you will experience three unique case studies designed to teach you digital marketing strategies, app vs. website development, and tools for pitching funders.
After each interactive presentation, attendees will dive deeper into the content by attending intimate breakout sessions led by each speaker below:
- Jeanette Pierce, Director of Marketing communications at Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs
- Morgan Berman, CEO of MilkCrate
- Rajvi Mehta, lead of Philadelphia Chapter of Women in Data
Each speaker will present a different perspective and provide resources based on the lessons that their organization has learned.
Don’t forget your bring your business cards! The evening of will be full of networking, professional development, and knowledge sharing among leaders in the impact community.
That’s not all. The moment you’ve been waiting for — the menu. Crowd favorite, Kyle Eats, is whipping up tasty bites to keep the conversation going.
Furthermore, what’s an evening workshop without a happy hour? As in the first session of 2019, you will be able to grab coffee, tea, or beer courtesy of our lovely hosts, MakeOffices.
Last, but not least, this is a FREE event. We ask that you pay a $5 deposit to save your seat and your funds will be returned upon arrival.
