Sandy Relief for Atlantic City Schools and students
Posted by on November 26, 2012
Thank you for contacting me regarding what you and/or your students could do to help the Atlantic City area after Hurricane Sandy. I spoke with the Donna Haye, Superintendent of Atlantic City Schools, and the need is very great. Most of their students are poor and have had their clothing and food supplies wiped out from the storm. Many of the students are facing a very rough school year.
On Wed, December 12 from 2:00-3:00pm EST Superintendent Haye will have a webinar just for this group, to let you know what the needs are and how you and your students can help during the spring 2013 semester. The Webinar link is below with Webinar instructions.
If you can make the webinar on December 12, please let me know. On behalf of Superintendent Haye, THANK YOU for your care and concern for the citizens of South Jersey. I hope to hear from you soon.

WEBINAR REQUIREMENTS
We will be using Elluminate Live! (Blackboard Collaborate), so you will want a computer microphone and speaker to fully participate (please note that you may need to connect your microphone before launching Collaborate). If you have a speaker but no microphone, you may still listen to and view the webinar. We encourage everyone to ask questions during the session using the Collaborate chat tool. We will try to answer as many questions as possible throughout the session. We HIGHLY recommend testing your computer prior to the webinar to make sure the computer you will be using meets the minimum requirements; you can click (or copy and paste) this link to test your equipment: https://sas.elluminate.com/site/external/jwsdetect/meeting.jnlp?sid=345&password=M.AD379BCB0A40D3D8C33C6B16A84C0B&username=Test
