Samuel Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health Grants Program Invites Applications
Deadline: January 8, 2010
The American Dental Association Foundation established the Samuel Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health as a permanent endowment fund dedicated to improving oral health for children, particularly through prevention of childhood caries.
For 2009-10, organizations that sponsor programs for mothers and caregivers to help reduce the incidence of early childhood caries are invited to submit an application.
Competitive grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded solely for prenatal and postnatal oral health instruction for mothers/caregivers. Due to limited funding this year, approximately eight to ten grants will be made.
The complete Request for Proposals is available at the ADA Foundation Web site.
