Sale of Furniture from Temple University Paley Library – Jul 12
Posted by Temple Surplus on June 10, 2019
Temple Surplus is hosting a sale featuring furniture from Paley Library (Temple’s main library) to avoid landfill waste during the move to Temple’s new Charles library, which is opening for the fall semester. This sale will take place on June 12th from 11 am to 2 pm on the first floor of Paley Library. There will be a range of items from Gunlocke chairs, to bookshelves, to tables and stools. They will all be in different conditions, so if an item has been well-loved and needs TLC, it will be discounted! There will also be original condition pieces selling below market value.
Here is the facebook event link.
Temple Surplus serves as a clearinghouse of material purchased by the University. Surplus inventory includes all types of equipment, including, but not limited to, furniture, lab equipment, clinical materials, and facilities products. The goal of the program is to repurpose these items and support local community organizations. Click to learn more about the Temple Surplus program.
