Rural Cooperative Development Grant Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Rural Business-Cooperative Service (RBS) has announced the availability of approximately $5 million through the Rural Cooperative Development Grant Program for fiscal year 2004. Of this amount, up to $1.5 million will be reserved for applications that focus on assistance to small, minority producers through their cooperative businesses. The maximum award per grant is $300,000 and matching funds are required. The deadline is July 26. For more information, go to the U.S. Department of Agriculture website.
