RESOURCE TIP: ROUNDTABLE ON RELIGION AND SOCIAL POLICY
The Roundtable on Religion and Social Policy at the Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government in Albany, N.Y., is funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts to provide “a comprehensive, impartial body of research” on the role of faith-based groups in social welfare. The Roundtable website at http://www.religionandsocialpolicy.org includes a great deal of useful information on government programs involving faith-based organizations, including information on legal and constitutional issues, federal policies and regulations, conferences, and information on program effectiveness. The Roundtable and its website provide useful information for Corporation programs and staff working with faith-based initiatives.
