Revenue and Fiscal Compliance Supervisor, Congreso de Latinos Unidos

The Revenue and Fiscal Compliance Supervisor is responsible primarily for oversight of the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions of the fiscal department. As a senior member of the Fiscal department, he/she will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate internal controls and fiscal compliance throughout the department, specifically related to grants and contracts. He/she will supervise Accounts Receivable team. He/she will perform analytical and operational support duties related to invoicing, contract budget monitoring, and AR Aging.
- Oversee and review processing and submission of invoices.
- Supervise the AR team and be the backup for all their duties.
- Prepare and analyze AR Aging on a regular basis.
- Invoice and reconcile special events (Golf and Gala).
- Establish relationships with funders and external contacts to ensure consistent communication with fiscal department as appropriate
- Analyze fee for service revenue and performance based revenue and reconcile monthly.
- Be familiar with contractual requirements to ensure fiscal compliance.
- Be the internal expert on the OMB and monitor contracts for compliance.
- Close out contracts.
- Prepare the annual SEFA.
- Lead the monthly program meetings (responsible for presentation, follow-up and notes).
- Apply cash receipts for subsidiaries and serve as a backup for all cash receipts.
- Provide back up for duties of Budget Analyst and Sr Vice President of Finance as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Able to establish and maintain relationships with associates, auditors, representatives of industry, business and various other staff.
- Detail oriented.
- Able to meet deadlines in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Excel and experience with or ability to learn Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Accounting System.
- Ability to work in a team structure – demonstrating ability to collaborate and contribute to the team’s work.
- Understanding of and implement accrual based accounting practices.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform accounts receivable procedures.
- Knowledge of Congreso’s automated financial management system and ability to identify and correct errors and to ensure accurate application of transactions.
- Knowledge of techniques in maintaining, balancing, and classing account in an accounting system to assist in year-end closing.
- Ability to review and monitor expenditures against budget and make appropriate judgments regarding payments and purchases.
