Resources from the 2009 National Summit on Your City’s Families Now Available
More than 350 municipal leaders and community partners gathered in Boston last month to take part in the 2009 National Summit on Your City’s Families. The Summit featured keynote addresses by Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Pittsburgh social entrepreneur William Strickland, as well as an array of workshops, site visits, trainings, and peer networking meetings.
Local officials who were unable to attend the Summit due to travel constraints can now download audio and video recordings of the Summit plenary sessions, along with PowerPoint presentations and other resources from Summit workshops and meetings. Visit http://www.nlc.org/iyef/yefsummit.aspx and click the “Resources” tab to download these materials.
