RISE Seeks to Recognize Effective K-12 Teachers in Low-Income Schools
RISE (Resources for Indispensable Schools and Educators) is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and retaining effective teachers in low-income communities. Teachers accepted receive access to jobs opportunities at effective low-income schools, dollars and discounts, and connections with other like-minded professionals. Learn more, apply, or refer a teacher through our website. Eligibility: A minimum of one year full-time teaching experience in a low-income K-12 school; a demonstrated ability to move students forward academically; a dedication to working with underserved students and communities.
Deadline: June 15, 2006.
