Resources: Fast for a World Harvest from Oxfam America

For many, Labor Day marks the end of the summer. We shift from summer hours in the workplace, wrap up vacations, and return to school. For those of us in Oxfam America’s Fast for a World Harvest community, autumn also marks the beginning of a new Fast season, and that brings a sense of renewal and hope.

The Fast is Oxfam’s annual drive to raise awareness, funds, and concern about world hunger and poverty

Join the Fast and turn your concern about global hunger and poverty into action! There are many ways to get involved?from donations to simple fund raisers to hosting an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet.

We’ll provide everything you need to build the program that’s right for you or your group by furnishing ideas, free customizable materials, even tools for organizing an Oxfam America Hunger Banquet. You’ll find everything you need at http://www.oxfamamerica.org/fast.

However you choose to get involved, we’re here to help you get started and to support your efforts each step of the way. Join us in the 33rd year of Oxfam’s Fast for a World Harvest.
