Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Residential Life Coordinator.

THE POSITION

The Residential Life office at Bryn Mawr College has one opening for an energetic individual who is invested in the academic, social, and emotional growth of students to join our relationship-centered Residential Life team as a Residential Life Coordinator (RLC).

The RLC position is a 10-month, full-time position in the Office of Residential Life. This generalist position is designed to provide the opportunity for a comprehensive and valuable experience in student life work in a residential liberal arts college setting. The RLCs provide support and serve as a resource to Bryn Mawr College students, residential life professional and student staff members (Hall Advisors), the Dean’s Office, and other campus.  The RLCs also provide nighttime and weekend on-call support to the Bryn Mawr residential community and assist with departmental planning efforts, operational tasks, and campus events and programs.

The RLCs assist in Community Development and Involvement, Hall Advisor (HA) and Dorm Leadership Team (DLT) Programs, Emergency Response, Residential Life Administration

We are looking for someone with a master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field with a minimum 1-year post-undergraduate experience required in counseling, advising, college, housing, residential life, or related field.

Training in intergroup dialogue, conflict mediation, group facilitation or related experience is a plus.

Due to on-call and evening and weekend responsibilities, applicants must have reliable transportation and live within 30 minutes of campus.  Valid driver’s license and vehicle preferred.
