Job description
Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), a dynamic nonprofit, works to improve maternal and child health and well-being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers and communities.
The Research and Evaluation Department seeks an energetic professional to coordinate a community-based study examining a weight management intervention for postpartum women and their infants. The Research Assistant will recruit participants, coordinate scheduling and follow-up assessments, organize community workshops, conduct in-home participant visits, and collect and manage data collection, storage and entry.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, the ability to function independently in community and clinical research settings, experience working with diverse populations, familiarity with community-based home visiting and the ability to manage quantitative information. Individuals who are bi-lingual in Spanish/English are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position.
