Request for Meeting Space
Posted by School District of Philadelphia on December 19, 2016
The SDP Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment is on the lookout for inviting, exciting, no- or low-cost locations to host trainings and events for teachers and staff in the upcoming months. We are seeking locations that can accommodate larger groups (150-175 people), preferably with the ability to arrange table seating for collaborative work. We are seeking meeting spaces that have access to digital audio/visual presentation equipment, and have the ability to provide free or discounted parking. We have a variety of engaging experiences in the works for our teachers, and are hoping to host them in a unique environment to encourage attendance and to show how much we appreciate our staff. The OCIA looks to our wonderful Philadelphia-based partnerships to help us provide quality training together in order to guide the students of our great schools toward success. If this is something your organization is able to do, please contact Abbey Gunn, Director of Middle Grades Literacy, at agunn@philasd.org. Thank you in advance, and we look forward to working with you!
