Lalor Foundation Accepting Applications for Reproductive Health Programs
The Lalor Foundation’s Anna Lalor Burdick Program aims to empower young women and enhance their opportunities in life through education about healthy reproduction.
The program offers support to organizations that provide comprehensive, innovative, and unbiased sexual and reproductive health education to young women. The foundation is particularly interested in programs that serve young women who are disadvantaged by poverty, discrimination, geographic isolation, lack of comprehensive sex education, hostile public policy, or other factors with potential to lead to inadequate sexual and reproductive health.
Grants awarded through the program typically range between $10,000 and $35,000, with an average grant size of between $15,000 and $25,000.
Priority will be given to new programs, initiatives, or innovations within already successful programs. Programs at new or grassroots organizations capable of providing excellent services also will be considered.
Concept papers are due by November 1, 2021, and selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. The online portal will open one month prior to the concept paper deadline.
Candidates must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. While projects may take place outside the U.S., only organizations based in the U.S. are eligible to receive a grant.
Deadline: November 1, 2021 (Concept Papers)
