Lalor Foundation Accepting Applications for Reproductive Health Programs
Through its Anna Lalor Burdick Program, the Lalor Foundation seeks to empower young women and enhance their opportunities in life through education about healthy reproduction.
The program supports organizations that offer comprehensive, innovative, and unbiased sexual and reproductive health education to young women. The foundation is particularly interested in programs serving young women who are disadvantaged by poverty, discrimination, geographic isolation, lack of comprehensive sex education, hostile public policy, or other factors with potential to lead to inadequate sexual and reproductive health.
Grants awarded through the program typically range between $10,000 and $35,000.
Priority will be given to new programs, initiatives, or innovations within already-successful programs. Programs at new or grassroots organizations capable of giving excellent services also will be considered.
Concept papers are due by May 1, 2020. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. The online portal will open one month prior to the concept paper deadline.
Eligible candidates must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. While projects may take place outside the U.S., only organizations based in the U.S. are eligible to receive a grant.
See the Lalor Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
