Strategies to Improve Workforce Readiness. Corporate Voices for Working Families (CVWF), a Ready by 21 National Partner, just released “Strengthening America’s Economic Competitiveness: Public Policy Strategies to Improve Workforce Readiness”. This paper outlines four types of policy recommendations: increase and broaden learning opportunities, create alternative pathways to work, value higher education and lifelong learning and improve the coordination of programs for disconnected youth.
