Strategies to Improve Workforce Readiness. Corporate Voices for Working Families (CVWF), a Ready by 21 National Partner, just released “Strengthening America’s Economic Competitiveness: Public Policy Strategies to Improve Workforce Readiness”. This paper outlines four types of policy recommendations: increase and broaden learning opportunities, create alternative pathways to work, value higher education and lifelong learning and improve the coordination of programs for disconnected youth. By implementing these policies, leaders can ensure all young people are ready to enter the workforce.
