Hyperlocal research report released
CUMU is proud to release ‘Building Community Capacity via Place-Based Hyperlocal Engagement,’ a benchmarking study developed and implemented by CUMU Research Fellow Lina Dostilio, Ed.D. Recognizing hyperlocal engagement as a growing area of practice among CUMU member institutions, this report catalogs the diversity of hyperlocal engagement strategies and investigates which areas of community capacity are of interest to hyperlocal engagements. Our website includes the full report, engagement profiles, an interactive map of engagements across the CUMU membership, and an introductory video with Dr. Dostilio. This report was supported by the Kresge Foundation.
