Relief Manager
The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House has a unique opportunity for a mature, responsible person with great people skills and good judgment at the Chestnut Street House. The Relief Manager provides coverage for the House Manager, Weekend Managers and Resident (overnight) Manager during their vacations and other scheduled time off. Responsibilities include overseeing front desk operations, supervising and directing volunteers, assisting and interacting with the families we serve, managing the property and ensuring its safety and security, and other administrative functions.
The ideal candidate for this position has great flexibility in his/her schedule and is available to be scheduled for day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts as needed. Please note that overnight shifts require the Relief Manager to sleep overnight at the House in one of our guest rooms, while being accessible by phone. This position does not have a set schedule and hours vary, depending upon our scheduling needs.
A bachelor’s degree is required as well as prior operations management experience.
