The 2025 Refugee Education Summit, September 16-17, Lancaster, PA is a two-day training sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Refugee Education Program in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and is held in collaboration with the Center for Schools and Communities. Plan to attend to learn more about welcoming, supporting, and engaging newcomer students and their families.
- There is no cost to attend for Pennsylvania residents or practitioners.
- Space is available for 25 non-Pennsylvania practitioners to attend the summit at $150 per person. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Make Your Travel Arrangements Now! Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements. A limited block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate of $123 per night plus tax at DoubleTree Resort Lancaster, Pennsylvania, until Monday, September 1, 2025, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Make hotel reservations online or call the hotel at 717-464-2711 and reference group code “2025 Refugee Summit” to obtain the discounted rate. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
