Regional Recruiter for Philadelphia
SALARY: $45,027.00 /Year

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions, this individual is primarily responsible for the recruitment of prospective students entering the University’s undergraduate programs. The incumbent is accountable for achieving specific enrollment goals for the Philadelphia area territory. This position requires an individual with confidence; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; exceptional persistence and proven ability to meet numerical goals; a high level of commitment; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; and the ability to motivate others. The Regional Recruiter for Philadelphia should demonstrate an understanding of the history, programs, and culture of Kutztown University, and have demonstrated familiarity and experience with K-12 and/or institutions of higher education in Philadelphia.

Primary work location is yet to be determined but is anticipated to be in or near Philadelphia.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in higher education, college admissions, marketing, customer service, or sales
• Positive, professional attitude, and a high level of energy and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
• Commitment and ability to work with diverse individuals
• Ability to form positive connections with essential campus staff (e.g., Financial Aid, faculty, Registrar)
• Excellent organizational, file management, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for recruiting purposes
• The Regional Recruiter for Philadelphia should have demonstrated familiarity and experience with k-12 and/or institutions of higher education in Philadelphia

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree preferred
• Preference given to candidates living in Philadelphia or surrounding counties
• KU Alumni preferred
• A product of the Philadelphia school system a plus
