Southeastern Pennsylvania Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (SEPA VOAD) is excited to be hosting a regional planning symposium around human services response in disaster. This Regional Planning Symposium will be an opportunity for organizations to learn how they can better serve their own stakeholders, clients, and communities, and it will also be an opportunity for us to collectively consider strategies to build a more resilient Southeastern PA.
Speakers will feature experts in Human Services response to disaster, including:
- Peter Gudaitis, M. Div. President, National Disaster Interfaiths Network; Chief Response Officer, NY Disaster Interfaith Services
- Laura Zink Marx, Executive Director, The NJ 2-1-1 Partnership
- Samantha Phillips, Deputy Managing Director for Emergency Management for the City of Philadelphia; Co-Chair, SEPA Task Force
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
