HELP USA, an entrepreneurial national not-for-profit, seeks to fill an executive management position overseeing our three housing programs in Philadelphia, PA. The successful candidate for this position will be a highly motivated leader who will settle for nothing less than best-in-class performance. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of one transitional and two permanent housing programs, the regional director will maintain HELP USA’s excellent working relationship with the Philadelphia Housing Authority, PHFA, and our Philadelphia-based social service partners. He/She will also with the New York City-based central office to increase HELP USA’s profile in the Philadelphia affordable housing marketplace and assist the organization to develop additional housing in Philadelphia. The candidate who will excel in this highly stimulating environment will receive competitive financial compensation and have the opportunity to work for a national leader in the fight against homelessness. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree as well as a minimum of 5 years of senior management experience. Candidates must have a background in tax credit compliance and professional experience with rent-ups and property management. We will only consider candidates who have proven supervisory, staff development, and budget and financial management skills.
