Reentry Coalition VISTA, Office of Criminal Justice
Posted by City of Philadelphia on March 27, 2017
The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Criminal Justice seeks a dynamic and motivated Serve Philadelphia VISTA to join our team for a year beginning July 2017. The Reentry Coalition VISTA will build the Reentry Capacity Bank to connect community-based reentry providers with volunteers, in-kind services, and other pro-bono resources, advancing the Coalition’s goals of facilitating collaboration, leveraging resources, and building capacity among reentry stakeholders to create a more effective reentry services system. A major component of this project will be to forge relationships specifically with local academic institutions in order to strategically link our members with students, courses, researchers, centers, service learning opportunities, volunteer projects, and other university resources. This position is a great opportunity for someone interested in reentry, criminal justice, municipal government, government-nonprofit collaboration, and university-community relations.
Visit http://www.PhiladelphiaReentryCoalition.org for more info about the Reentry Coalition. Applications available at http://www.serve.phila.gov/vista, due April 19th.
