Recruiting BIPOC Girls (ages 15-19) for the Restorative Community Project – Dec 5
Posted by Collective Climb on November 19, 2024
The Restorative Community Project pays BIPOC girls and femmes (ages 15-19) to become restorative justice practitioners. Between January 6 and April 14, 2025, participants will be trained in Black feminist theory, anti-oppression education, and restorative justice programming. They will also go on a weekend retreat to the Poconos and create a closing art exhibition. While participants do not need to submit grades or recommendation letters, we will build our cohort of 10 – 12 youth based on their responses to the prompt, “What would it mean to be free?” and a virtual conversation.
Where: 350 S. 15th Street (Pine St & S 15th St)
Applications are due December 5th.
