Recruiting and Engaging Those Vital Volunteers!
Wednesday, April 7, 6:00-9:00pm
Friends Center, 1501 Cherry Street
Do you wish for more hands (and minds) to share the work of your organization? Are you burning out a few key people, while most members never become active? Concerned that your core supporters dont reflect the diversity of your organization? This workshop will offer strategies to deal with these issues and more, including: understanding why people do (and don’t) volunteer; connecting volunteer involvement with membership development; defining volunteer work effectively; getting past boring committees to focused teams; and recruiting the best people online and off. Co-sponsored by Action Without Borders-Idealist.org.
