This position provides grant, outreach, and technical assistance services to assist communities, non-profits organizations, state and local government entities and citizens with recreation, conservation and natural resource related projects and management issues in the Eastern Region of the Bureau (Region 1) which encompasses the following counties: Philadelphia, Delaware, and Bucks. The Advisor helps develop and implement large-scale regional partnership initiatives such as Conservation Landscapes, River Conservation efforts, County Greenway and Open Space efforts, and broad land conservation planning and implementation efforts.
