reception for Writing to Reach You

I’m excited to announce that I’m having a reception for Writing to Reach You, my latest photo-documentary project that was made possible by the Leeway Foundation’s Art and Change grant program. Friends of this project from the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians have generously agreed to host the photos and the reception. With the project focusing on immigrant Philadelphian women and their transition into a new culture, the Welcoming Center is the perfect place to give this concept a temporary home.

Please come to the reception and bring your pals! Here’s the details:

What: reception for Writing to Reach You
Where: the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians (1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 555, Philadelphia, PA 19103)
When: Wednesday, January 30th, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:30
