#RealCollege: Voices for Change campaign kick off
Posted by Temple University on April 16, 2018
On April 18 Temple professor Sara Goldrick-Rab is launching the #RealCollege: Voices for Change campaign (VfC). VfC is a national campaign collecting student stories for the purpose of teaching people in higher education and government about the challenges students face, and the ways they find success. Students will share stories in areas such as: hunger, homelessness, balancing student life and family life, returning citizens, what it is like to be a student and former foster youth, and much, much more.
Stories will be collected via audio on their website, launching very shortly. The stories collected will be available to organizations like yours to use in advocacy and systems change.
The kickoff will be a Philly #Realathon, open to all students, faculty, and staff on college campuses across Philadelphia as well as partners in Philly who envision positive and successful lives for today’s college students.
Please help in promoting the broader campaign and the local event.
The local event is April 18, 5 pm- 7 pm, at the Rad Dish in Ritter Annex at Temple.
We would love to have your students involved!
