Reading Volunteer opportunity with KIPP

KIPP is a network of high performing public charter schools in Philadelphia and a long-time Wells Fargo partner. They are looking to recruit volunteers on December 15th to read to children in the morning. This activity is part of our company’s commitment to supporting the Read by 4th early literacy campaign. Volunteer Details
- Service Location – KIPP (North) Philadelphia Elementary School, 3343 Stokley Street, Phila, PA
- Volunteers will be provided books on site to read to the children
- Event being supported by the Philadelphia Eagles Youth Partnership who are donating book to each child
Volunteer Schedule:
8:30 am – 8:45 am – Registration, mingling, intro
8:45 am – 9:15 am – Volunteers read to 1st grade in classrooms
9:25 am – 9:55 am- Volunteers read with 3rd grade students
10:00 am – 10:30 am – Volunteers read with Kindergarten students
10:30 am – 10:55 am – Volunteers read with 2nd grade
10:55 am – 11:25 am – Volunteers read with 4th grade
11:25 am – 12:00 pm – Closing remarks and Wells Fargo check presentation
