Teach For America (TFA) Greater Philadelphia began a pilot last year of its Ignite tutoring program, a virtual tutoring program based on a national model to bring high impact, high dosage tutoring to Philly elementary schools. That tutoring is delivered by energetic college students who are overseen by a qualified teacher operating as the school trainer. TFA Greater Philadelphia piloted Ignite with 10 first graders in 2022 and will expand to three elementary schools this fall. Join us to learn more about the early results as well as their expansion plans.
