Position: Re-Entry Operations Supervisor

Job Summary: The Re-Entry 0perations Supervisor is responsible for all the grant’s programmatic activities and operations. This includes assisting in hiring and training of two Re-entry Employment Coaches, insuring that contract performance standards are met, assist with managing the budget and communicating with the LEAP partners.

Position Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong management and organizational skills; ability to work across all levels of management and staff.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, social services or related field; 2 to 3 years experience in business, education and training or corrections, probation or parole; minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid PA driver’s license

Work Requirements: Travel required in the course of performing job responsibilities.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Contract Performance Standards
• Meet or exceed all contract performance standards outlined in the LEAP grant
• Strategize as needed in order to meet and exceed performance standards
• Complete accurately and timely data reports for partners and grant reporting
• Develop relationships with agencies and community based organizations that could impact the success of the LEAP grant
• Revise and update Re-Entry Resource Directory
• Identify and develop relationships with local and regional employers in hiring and developing re-entry participants
• Coordinates intake/assessment and post release services reviewing Wisconsin Risk and Needs Assessment
• Coordinate and structure the recruitment of volunteer mentors
• Coordination with representatives of the Adult Probation and Parole Department
• Coordination with PA CareerLink representatives to identify Individual Training Account and OJT vouchers
• Coordination with the community college for career pathway training

Customer Relations
• Communicate consistently and effectively with all customers
• Establish a true partnership where strategizing and problem solving occur
• Identify needs prior to being asked
• Communicate effectiveness of the program

Fiscal Management
• Collaborate to help maximize contract budget without overspending
• Make sound decisions on expenditures
• Handle all fiscal approvals in a timely manner, maintains invoice files, and accurately tracks invoices to assure all invoices are processed/approved
• Responsible for support funds and inventory

Contract Growth: Renewal/Expansion
• Be aware of customer needs and a needed shift of services (if necessary)
• Submit appropriate proposals including cost proposals as necessary and requested
• Participate in the gathering and presentation of data for future RFP
