Race, Class and Education: Gaining New Insights

This day-long conference seeks to explore legal and social science perspectives on educational inequality, and the outcomes and the effects of these inequalities on the overall development of children and youth.
Join us as we bring together a group of noted scholars, featuring Dr. Pedro Noguera, Professor of Teaching and Learning at the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University and author of City Schools and the American Dream: Reclaiming the Promise of Urban Education and forthcoming Unfinished Business: Closing the Racial Achievement Gap in Our Schools.
