Pulitzer Center’s 2021 Conference, Environment (Re)Defined – Apr 20-23
Posted by Pulitzer Center on April 20, 2021
Please set aside April 20-23 to join the Pulitzer Center for our 2021 Conference — this year we focus on the environment and the deeply reported projects we support around the globe.
What do we mean by the term “environment,” and how do journalists develop leads on underreported stories? What are some of the innovative or compelling approaches to reporting on environmental issues? What skills are needed to produce quality reporting today, from data journalism to better collaborative alliances among journalists across borders?
Our aim is to connect journalists, researchers, policymakers, educators, and the general public around these questions and the reporting of our journalist grantees. In past years, we have convened in Washington, D.C., but given the ongoing pandemic we’re creating a virtual space for us all to meet at our conference. We’d like to especially welcome participation by our Campus Consortium network partners as well as other students and faculty from around the world.
