Pulitzer Center Fall 2025 Teacher Fellowship Program – Apply by Sep 7

Posted by Pulitzer Center on August 19, 2025

Ready for an exciting paid professional development opportunity that immerses your students in health stories from around the world? We are excited to announce that applications for our next Teacher Fellowship are now open!

This paid, virtual program will provide a structure for educators to investigate global health inequities using Pulitzer Center reporting from Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and explore how students can find connections to these stories and their own communities.

After engaging with award-winning journalists and our Education team through a series of virtual workshops, Fellows will design learning experiences that center the themes of these stories and include civic engagement activities to inspire deeper classroom conversations about global health journalism. Fellows will also produce narrative blog posts documenting the results of these learning experiences, and create an accompanying lesson plan that will be made publicly available in the Pulitzer Center’s lesson library.

Applications are due Sunday, September 7, 2025, 11:59 PM.

Learn more and apply.

Spots in this program are limited to just 12 educators. If you have any questions about the program after reading the full description, reach out to us anytime at education@pulitzercenter.org.
