Pulitzer Center Curriculum: Analyzing the Impacts of Climate Change on Cape Cod

The sea near the Cape is warming faster than 99 percent of the world’s oceans, radically changing the nature of marine life and the species that can survive there. This curriculum critically and creatively engages with the Boston Globe‘s months-long investigation into climate change on the Cape and highlights the stories of the people most affected, the scientists studying these effects, and those charting a path forward.

The curriculum includes warm-up exercises, reading guides for each section of the Globe story (erosion, coastal ecosystems, fishing and sea life, infrastructure, and storms), discussion questions, and extension activities.
