Public Comments Sought on Regional Plan

DVRPC OPENS PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR DRAFT PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PLAN

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is seeking your input and will open a public comment period for its draft Public Participation Plan. The public comment period will open on January 30, 2012 and close at 5 p.m., March 14, 2012.

As the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Delaware Valley, DVRPC is required to adopt a Public Participation Plan, which establishes a framework for DVRPC’s public involvement efforts and ensures compliance with current federal transportation legislation.

Please join us for a public meeting and information session between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the DVRPC Conference Center, located at 190 North Independence Mall West, 8th Fl., Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Copies of the draft plan are available in the DVRPC Resource Center; in a number of regional libraries; on DVRPC’s web site, http://www.dvrpc.org; or by contacting the DVRPC Public Affairs office at (215) 238-2871 or public_affairs@dvrpc.org) The draft plan can be made in alternative formats or language, if requested.
