PUBLIC: A Journal of Imagining America

Fifth Anniversary Issue of “PUBLIC: A Journal of Imagining America”
This special anniversary issue of PUBLIC highlights Imagining America’s move to the University of California–Davis by investigating public scholarship and community-engaged teaching in California’s Central Valley, whose population experiences many of the tensions experienced nationally, such as equitable access to housing, education, land, water, and employment. The opportunities and tensions involved in producing timely and locally engaged public scholarship in a specific regional setting are explored throughout this volume.
