[emailed 3/14/07]

The Out-of-School Time Resource Center (OSTRC) seeks a part-time, temporary worker to assist with its research projects and related tasks. Specifically, this individual will help with data entry and, on occasion, literature reviews, evaluation implementation, and similar duties. This position pays $10/hour for 10 hours of work per week, and weekly schedules are flexible. This position will continue through May 31, 2007, and possibly beyond.

Candidates should be familiar with out-of-school time programming, standard research practices, and statistical software programs such as SPSS. More importantly, applicants should have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to handle details as well as multiple projects; and self-direction and motivation.

The OSTRC is located in the University of Pennsylvania?s School of Social Policy and Practice. The OSTRC promotes out-of-school time (OST) student achievement by conducting research on and providing access to staff resources and professional development. This job opening, although part-time and temporary, is a wonderful opportunity to become involved in important research and networking opportunities.

Please forward, circulate, post, and otherwise advertise this position – I have attached the formal job description as well. Thanks!
