Job Qualifications:
The Program Specialist (Part-Time) works at the Boone Student Support Center weekday mornings and supports the Boone Site Director in providing clinical counsel and oversight for the case managers. Specifically, they will assist with developing and implementing student behavior modification and family support plans as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health, Social Services, or related field and one to three years experience providing clinical mental health service. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
*Demonstrated ability to provide clinical mental health services.
*Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with community residents and community leaders.
*Ability to work with diverse populations in schools, community organizations, and social service/mental health agencies.
*Demonstrated knowledge of local and national efforts and trends in adolescent mental health.
*Demonstrated familiarity with current issues and knowledge of local and national efforts and trends in adolescent mental health.
*Ability to use computer programs and data sets to manage data that’s been entered into the computer.

Preferred:
*Master’s degree in Mental Health, Social Services, or related field.
*Demonstrated knowledge of community resources.
