The Faith-Justice Institute’s Lectures and Programming Assistant is responsible for the creation and implementation of The Joseph William and Madeline Eberle Klein Fund’s “educational events…(which are) directed toward greater inclusion in the Roman Catholic Church of those groups of persons disaffected from it….”
Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications
The Lectures and Programming Assistant works with the Director of the Faith-Justice Institute in the design and implementation of the William Joseph and Madeline Eberle Klein fund educational activities and outreach.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Plan and implement Joseph William and Madeline Eberle Klein educational activates ensuring compliance with the endowment parameters. This includes event design and conceptualization, logistical organization and implementation, marketing and related campus collaboration.
•Work with the Director to manage endowment funds.
•Plan and implement Faith-Justice Institute special events.
Secondary Responsibilities:
•Contribute to the functioning of the Faith-Justice Institute by attending staff meetings.
•Complete other duties as assigned by the Director.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
*Availability to work evening hours and flexibility surround major events
Minimum Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree.
*Knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church and groups disaffected by the Roman Catholic Church.
*Excellent organizational skills.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Excellent event planning skills.
*Valid Driver’s License.
