Pt-time Assistant Group Leader, United Communities

United Communities Southeast Philadelphia has an immediate opening in their afterschool program for an Assistant Group Leader/Security.  This is a part-time position, approximately 15 hours per week. This position involves the care of children in an assigned group in order to meet their physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs.  It also involves the caring of children at the playground, on trips and at public events. The Assistant Group Leader is also responsible for picking up children from an assigned school and escorting them back to the program, as well as providing security for the program. Qualified candidates must have a High School diploma or GED; must be 18 years or older; and have experience working with children in an educational environment.
