We are looking to hire for part-time positions for an after school program. The minimum requirements are:
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- Must have FBI, PA State and Child abuse clearances OR have the ability to pass these background checks.
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
- CDAs and/or Accredited College Credits are preferred but not required.
- Current CPR/First Aid credentials preferred but not required.
- At least 1-2+ years relative experience.
2 part-time positions
1 on-call position
The William Bailey Revitalization and Education Community Center, Inc. is a PA nonprofit that specializes in adult athletics, education and child development.
This position will have learning opportunities in the Education Department under the direction and supervision of the Education Director. The program by which any work and/or experience will be conducted is Philadelphia Early Learning Academy (http://www.PELAkids.com). This program is growing at a tremendous rate.
The position will be working to do the following duties with the following learning opportunities:
Working in the education programs:
o Pre-School (ages 3.5 – 5)
o Before/After Care (ages 6-10)
o In-school support (ages 6-14)
Study youth behavior/psych and conduct holistic therapies
o Log-in findings and observations
Attend meetings for IEPs, Parent relations, etc.
o Gaining program management experience
o Gaining experience of interdisciplinary team work.
Managing program promotions
Reporting to the Director with updates
Attend meetings and produce ideas and program suggestions/feedback.
Requirements:
Be a Psychology, Research, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Counseling, etc. major.
And/Or be an Education Minor
Have at least a 2.5 GPA
Have reliable transportation
