When fully implemented, the 2022 Pennsylvania Science, Technology, Engineering, Environmental Literacy, and Sustainability (STEELS) academic standards will revolutionize the way students are taught in the classroom. This hands-on, integrated, interdisciplinary approach mirrors the work of STEM professionals as well as parallels the way that out-of-school time (OST) STEM educators teach. How can OST STEM educators best support the implementation of the STEELS standards in their region? Join us for a panel discussion with three leaders in the field: Adelle Schade, Founder of Total Experience Learning; Dia Jones, Executive Director at Philadelphia Robotics Coalition; and Johnny Wells, Director of Education at Destination Imagination.
