PSSE Virtual Meeting: Connecting and Engaging Ecosystems Series: Supporting Teachers in Transforming Learning Environments with ABC CREATE and Lancaster County STEM Alliance – Mar 23

In this new series, PA Ecosystems will share promising program models or strategies. Attendees will then meet in small groups to discuss implementation tips, as well as make connections with other organizations.
Two Ecosystems that are supporting teachers in creating more authentic and career-aligned learning environments for their students will be featured. ABC CREATE (representing the Allegheny-Kiski Valley near Pittsburgh) will share how they are moving hundreds of tech-hesitant elementary educators to becoming inspired teachers and learners with their CS/STEAM/robotics professional development model, and Lancaster County STEM Alliance will showcase their strategy for connecting business and education through their Adopt a Middle School and Teachers as Temporary Workers programs.
