Property/Finance Manager, Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association

Based in the Oxford Circle neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association (OCCCDA) is seeking a Property and Finance Manager. The mission of OCCCDA is “to extend healing and hope in the Oxford Circle community, believing that God’s purpose of reconciling all people to Jesus leads us to minister on spiritual, physical, social & economic levels.” The Property and Finance Manager is responsible for demonstrating the vision and mission of the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association (OCCCDA) to tenants and service contractors of the OCCCDA property.  The Incumbent also manages the daily finances of OCCCDA, ensures the ongoing maintenance of the property, and supervises the property assistant.  The position is 25-30 hours per week and pay is commensurate with experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Schedule and manage property maintenance and service contracts/contractors.
•    Maintain and implement communication system with tenants
•    Prepare and maintain lease agreements with tenants.
•    Assist identified real estate personnel and property team with ensuring the property is occupied.
•    Schedule and supervise property assistant.  Manage, track and record hours worked.
•    Coordinate building use with congregation, other tenants, and OCCCDA programs.
•    Maintain financial records and issue reports as directed.
•    Approve invoices for payment and ensure bills are paid in a timely manner.
•    Maintain reconciliation between bank accounts and accounting system.
•    Assist with development of annual program and property budgets.
•    Maintain donor management system and assist with related development efforts.
•    Complete annual 990 and audit reconciliation with external auditor.
•    Collect and submit new hiring paperwork as required.
•    Ensure that staff are properly equipped with supplies, telephone and computer equipment.
•    Oversee OCCCDA computer, internet, and phone systems.
•    Attend staff, finance and property team meetings as scheduled.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    A committed, practicing believer in Jesus Christ and an active member of a Christian congregation.
    A commitment to the Oxford Circle community and to the holistic vision of the OCCCDA.
    Experience in accounting and finance principles and practices.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Works and Quickbooks software.
    Ability to manage staff and contracts in area of responsibility.
    Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
    Demonstrated management and organizational skills.
    Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field plus 2 years experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
